UV-LED’s emit high-intensity light as soon as they are turned on; in other words, there is no warm-up time.

 

BNN UVC is a specially designed UVC light which kills virus and bacteria, fungus etc. The most effective germicidal wavelength occurs at a peak of 275 nm at which DNA absorbs UV the most. UV-LED’s contain no mercury and yield a consistent irradiation output regardless of temperature, which makes them effective even under refrigeration. 

 

UVC disinfection targets the nucleic acid of these harmful cells, rearranging the genetic information, or DNA, and rendering them harmless. As the UVC radiation is absorbed into the cells they become unable to reproduce or multiply to infectious numbers and are considered inactive or dead.
